Leah Palmer
A Little bit about me: I grew up in Ogden Utah in the 70’s running wild with my two sisters. They are 6 and 9 years older than me, so we were either riding the UTA bus around Ogden, or driving up the canyons listening to our favorite music (Violent Femmes or Billy Idol) are the tapes I remember most. We were always hiking, and it always made me appreciate the beautiful state we live in.
My mother is also a painter. She would always set up my little space to paint when she got hers out. This is where I would grew up to appreciate art. I would always admire different artists and study their work in the competitions I would enter. One of the artists was Lee K Parkinson. When I met my husband and we went to his grandpas house, I knew right when I walked in who it was because I recognized his work.
My goal as an artist is to show you through my eyes the beauty that I have seen throughout my life like a vivid dream.
I feel very blessed to have such wonderful support from my husband, my three children, and the rest of my family and friends.
